The site’s content and videos are produced by Ahmadiyya Muslims. Their original branding of “End of Atheism” was in response to Sam Harris’ popular book, The End of Faith.
What was most interesting to me in this video, is how the presentation boils down to a key fork in the road.
At time index [5:55], the suggestion is made on how to determine if the uncaused cause is conscious. Their suggestion? Pray on it.
I’m sure however, that if one doesn’t get the answer suggested by the video’s proponents, we will be told that we are not praying correctly. We will be lovingly advised that we must pray with more emotion. Pray longer. Pray repeatedly. We then cross-over into what psychologists dub a commitment cycle.
This is explained well in the video entitled, Bending Truth, by TheraminTrees. Watch from time indices [14:33] through [18:12] for the relevant ideas here.
Surely, a just God would have a much better mechanism than this to arrive at such sublime truths with such enormous repercussions given the fallibility of human emotion and how easily we can fall prey to commitment cycles.
