In late July 2020, the apologist outfit of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community known as Rational Religion published a series of 15 articles in response to various topics I’ve covered in my material. The feature image of that article was an unflattering mid-speech still frame from my coming-out video. A mean-spirited and childish move that has lots of value if catering to an immature audience of fellow believers exhibiting an unabashed tribalism. This post is an open letter to Tahir Nasser, with additional context for readers who many not be familiar with the events.

In the Spring of 2019, I came out publicly as both an ex-Ahmadi and an ex-Muslim. While I’ve been blogging and commenting for a couple of years on social media under the alias Reason on Faith, I am finally ready to have you put a face and a voice to that name.
The Pigott Prophecy
An exploration of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s death-prophecy concerning claimant to divinity, John Hugh Smyth-Pigott. Twitter conversations with Ahmadi Muslims on this topic are cited and expanded upon to illustrate that we who maintain this prophecy was a failure, have solid reasons for arriving at this conclusion.
Evolution and Speciation: An Ahmadi Muslim Khalifa (Mirza Masroor Ahmad) Explains
This post is for discussing the claims in the 2-minute video linked to this tweet of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s 5th Khalifa, Mirza Masroor Ahmad (MMA, for short). In the video, MMA discusses aspects of evolution that reveal a very simplistic understanding, if it can be so called, of the topic. Umar Nasser had responded to my tweet, and in order to provide some non-trivial responses, I’ve created this blog post to explore some concepts that arise out of Umar’s comments. This blog post mirrors the responses first provided on Reddit.
Alleged Hypocrisy in Moderation? A Response to /u/terrabera
